Catherine Labonte has always had a fondness for cartoons. As a child she was fascinated by their simplicity and antics.

During her studies in fine art, these characters continued to be her first source of inspiration. Catherine wanted to transform her creations into three dimensions and soon chose glass as her medium. She works out of her studio in Montreal, Quebec.
